Slowpokes Street Car Shootout
A friend, AJ Jennen is putting together the Slowpokes Street Car Shootout that will take place at Qlispé Raceway Park on May 16th 2026.

Alright guys here is information we’ve all been waiting for, first off I want to thank everyone for their interest and involvement so far. I have a few very enthusiastic sponsors that have donated more than I was expecting to get together a decent guaranteed pot for the streetcar car class. The bike class I’m still looking for a couple sponsors. But here are the rules and buy ins per class.
Streetcar class
Guaranteed payouts
$2500 to the winner
$1000 to the runner up
We will be paying the semis as well not sure how much yet.
$50 tech card at the gate
$125 buy in with $100 going towards the pot
Open to all cars that are currently licensed and insured. Collector plates work too.
Small tire, big tire, fwd, rwd and awd will run together.
1/8 mile and clocks will be on.
.400 pro tree
Chip draw every round at my pit.
No testing the 16th prior to first round, the track will be open friday night on the 15th if you want to come test
All cars must complete the mandatory drive prior to round 1
All cars must meet NHRA tech for their et
Street bike class
$50 tech card at the gate
$75 buy in $50 of that goes to the pot
Open to all bikes that are currently licensed and insured.
All bikes run together.
Slick and radial tires allowed.
1/4 mile clocks will be on.
.400 pro tree for all bikes.

I will do my best to to answer any and all questions. These rules are subject to change as i feel like changing them. But it’s going to be pretty close to this in the end.
Im still working out the route for the Drive but im planning for it to be roughly 45 mins with mixed driving or freeway andsurface streets.
This is going to be a pretty laid back event. If you know me I want to have fun and put on a show so if someone has an issue with that and wants to cause problems don’t show up.
